April 11

Today in class we did an assignment on a man who was hung from a railroad bridge. I didn't really learn anything other than some people can be very crucial and heartless when it comes to others. I didn't like reading this story just because the author played with my mind thinking the man escaped his death and made it back to his family when the whole time he really was just in his imagination and actually died.

During spring break I stayed in Atlanta and didn't travel, although my mom and stepdad went to Aruba. For the first five or six days my sister and I had the whole house to ourselves with the exception of our dog. The first day of the break I went to an outside music festival with one of my closest friends, no we didn't really enjoy it as much because how hot and windy it was so we stayed in the car and took a fat nap. Later that day she came home with me and we made chicken tacos and my homeboys came over and we played games and they ate all the food. On Easter it was also my fathers birthday so my sisters, friends and I went to his house and he hosted a fish fry. I semi enjoyed it but none of my sisters and I tolerate his wife so we all kinda got into it because she has a very slick mouth for an "adult" For the rest of my time home alone my sisters friends stayed with us and we just enjoyed each others company and made memories with each other.

Summary: Today we read chapter 5 of Great Gatsby and answered Study guide questions. Reflection: I learned that Gatsby is a people person meaning he cares about impressing the people around him trying to fit in. Evaluation of the lesson: I didn’t mind the lesson. I enjoyed being able to work alone and doing my own work. Reveal: Today was decent. I've been tired all day and bored .
